Free Pattern - Pop It Fidget Keychain

Fidgets are a great way to keep settle your anxious energy and give your hands something to do. I tend to use crochet for this. However, my kids prefer fidgets. They have a pop it fidget that makes a POP sound. The feeling of the POP is what they like but not the POP sound. This crochet pop it fidget is a great alternative for it. It gives the POP sensation while remaining silent. Yarn options are vast, therefore the texture of the Pop it can be made of several different kinds. Materials Needed

H hook (5mm)

Acrylic yarn, 4 weight (I used Red Heart) Keychain

4” x 4” is the finished size of the fidget

US terms used

Ch - Chain

Sc - Single Crochet

Bo - Bobble stitch*

Picot*

Fo - Finish Off

Yo - yarn over

*Bobble Stitch - (yo, pull through same st, pull through 2 loops) x5, with 6 loops now on your hook, yo, pull through all 6 loops

*Picot - ch 3, sl st into first ch of ch 3

Row 1 - in 2nd ch from hook sc 1, 8 sc, ch 1, turn

Row 2 - 1 sc, 1 bo, 2 sc, 1 bo, 2 sc, 1 bo, 1 sc, ch 1, turn

Row 3 - 9 sc, ch 1, turn

Row 4 - 1 sc, 1 bo, 2 sc, 1 bo, 2 sc, 1 bo, 1 sc, ch 1, turn

Row 5 - 9 sc, ch 1, turn

Row 6 - 1 sc, 1 bo, 2 sc, 1 bo, 2 sc, 1 bo, 1 sc, ch 1, turn

Row 7 - 9 sc, ch 1, turn sideways
